We are a family run pub
The Smuggler pub is a building of substance that dates from the 1930s and was originally a beach club. It stands practically on the beach on the coast road at Pett Level that runs from Hastings to Winchelsea and attracts a strong following of local residents and tourists enjoying the delights of the Sussex towns, villages and coast.
There is a large car park and disable facilities. We have a garden at the front and a patio at the rear with a ice cream kiosk (only open in summer) where you are able to buy tea, coffee, cakes and of course a large selection of ice creams and lollies. Dogs and children are welcome. Parties catered for.
We offer Good home cooked food and real ales. A very friendly team behind the bar to welcome new and old customers alike. On a Saturday evening and Sunday lunch you can enjoy a full Carvery and weekday lunch time and evening we offer a bar menu and specials.
